Trail Mix Parfait
- Mason jars of any size with matching lids
- Enough raw nuts, dried fruit, coconut, and raw seeds to fill the jars
- Nut options: cashew, pecan, filbert, walnut, peanut, macadamia, hazelnut, or almond
- (make sure to use raw nuts so that you do not give rancid vegetable oils to your recipient)
- Dried Fruit: apricot, mango, goji, raisins, banana chips, cherry, pear, dates, or cranberries
- Raw seeds: Sunflower, pumpkin, sesame, or pine nut
- Make your parfait a hearty fuel by adding a healthy fat like coconut flakes
- Turn it into a special treat by adding soy free dark chocolate chips
- Start with a clean mason jar and an assortment of nuts, seeds and dried fruit
- Layer the items in rows and vary the colors
- Close the jar and tie a pretty ribbon if this is a gift
