Savin Money Stew

Easy and inexpensive, clean out the fridge, and turn your broth into an inexpensive stew.

1 lb grass-fed ground beef, bison, pork, turkey, chicken sausage, etc.
6 cups of bone broth, mushroom broth, or even water
1/2 head of cabbage
1 onion
3 carrots
4 red or yellow potatoes
2 garlic cloves
2 tsp sea salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
fresh parsley to garnish
optional 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (if you like a bit of heat)
Melt 2 Tbsp butter, lard, or coconut oil in a soup pot
Brown the 1 lb of meat
Add chopped onion and cook till soft (3-5 min)
Add broth and 3 veggies of choice from carrots to cabbage, potatoes to cauliflower, just use what you have
Toss in 2 chopped garlic cloves while bringing to a boil
Turn it down to a simmer for 15 minutes
Season with 2 tsp of sea salt and 1/4 tsp pepper
And add 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper if you like it hot
Top it with chopped fresh parsley
This is a nice hearty soup with very mild flavor
