Ginger Lime Halibut
- 1 thumb piece of ginger
- 1 lime
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 Tbsp tamari or coconut aminos
- 1 portion (6oz) wild alaskan halibut
- 2 Tbsp butter
- 1 bunch fresh greens
- sea salt and pepper to taste
- Melt 2 Tbsp butter in a pan on medium heat
- Lightly salt and pepper the halibut
- Add the halibut to the pan and sear 2-3 min
- Flip over for another 2-3 minutes
- Add the greens around the pan for 3 minutes
- Season the greens with sea salt and pepper
- Squeeze the garlic through a press over the entire dish
- Peel and grate the ginger over the dish with a fine grater
- Pour the aminos or Tamari over the dish
- Squeeze the lime over the dish
- Turn off the heat and let it sit for a few minutes to soak in the flavors
- Serve this with rice, potatoes, or over buckwheat soba noodles
