Easy Handmade Sushi Rolls
- Nori seaweed wraps
- sushi rice, made with 1 cup sushi rice to 2 cups liquid steamed 20 minutes
- liquid for rice: filtered water, homemade broth or half coconut milk and half water
- wild alaskan smoked salmon
- whole fat organic cream cheese
- garden fresh cucumbers
- * optional fillings: mango, banana, green apple, avocado, sprouts, scrambled egg, tuna
- Place a nori seaweed wrap on a flat surface or sushi roller mat
- When rice is cooled, spread a few handfuls evenly across the middle of the wrap
- Layer a stripe across the middle of the rice: salmon, cream cheese, and cucumber
- Roll up the wrap pulling tight to ensure a snug roll
- Wet the end of the nori wrap with wet fingers and "glue shut"
- *optional: Be creative and try new ingredients in the roll
